Who we are

Planora is a wedding planning platform connecting couples, wedding planners, and vendors. We are based in Ohio. When this policy says "Planora," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to the person or entity operating Planora.

What information we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Your email address and password (for account creation)
• Your name or the names of you and your partner
• Wedding details: date, location, size, style preferences
• Guest list names and RSVP information
• Budget and expense information you enter
• Vendor contact information you add manually
• For planners and vendors: business name, contact info, location, bio, and service details

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and features used within the app
• Error and crash reports

We do not collect or store payment card information. Any future payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider (such as Stripe) under their own privacy policies.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To provide the planning, collaboration, and communication features of the platform
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, invite notifications)
• To improve the product based on how it's used
• To respond to your support requests and feedback
• To send occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Who can see your data

Couples: Your wedding plan data (checklist progress, budget totals, guest count, style) is visible to any wedding planner you have connected with through Planora. Full plan details are only shared with planners you have explicitly accepted an invite from. Vendors you have booked through the platform can see your name and wedding date.

Planners and vendors: Your profile information (business name, location, services, bio) is visible to other authenticated users of the platform. This mirrors the public-facing nature of a vendor listing.

Third-party services: We use the following services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (privacy policy)
• Netlify — website hosting (privacy policy)

No other third parties have access to your personal data.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Cookies

Planora uses session cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics that set cookies on your device.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information through your account settings
• Delete your account and associated data by emailing us at hello@planora.com
• Export your data (we'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days)
• Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email we send

Requests are fulfilled within 30 days. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@planora.com with the subject "Privacy Request."

Children's privacy

Planora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll send an email notification to all registered users for any material changes. The updated policy will always be available at this page with a new "Last updated" date.
